Dying Light 2 - How to Get the Paraglider

In the zombie open world of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, you’ll be on foot for a long time. Aiden Caldwell is known for his impressive parkour skills, but the walks in the game can be quite long. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the paraglider so you can explore the city from above.

Where can I find the paraglider in Dying Light 2?

There is no need to search for the paraglider. It is more important that you meet Lawan, as Dylan instructed you to do at the beginning of the story. You will find him during the main quest. For the Peacekeepers, you need to determine who Lucas’ killer is and then get into the central loop. You’ll meet Lawan during this mission, who will assist you through the subway and take you to the first metro. You will receive the Nightrunner paraglider shortly afterward.

How do I control the paraglider?

By throwing yourself off a roof and descending, you can cover long distances with it. Hold down the square button (PS5) during your fall to open the paraglider. To stabilize your fall, pull the left stick back. To land, push it forward.

You should release all the buttons once you are up in the air. Pull the left stick back and steer the paraglider in the desired direction. When landing, make sure you lose altitude early enough, otherwise you will miss the roof and end up kissing the concrete.

How do I control the paraglider Dying Light 2

Why is endurance so important when paragliding?

The paraglider in Dying Light 2 depletes Aiden’s stamina. If the blue bar falls below zero, you will crash. To increase Aiden’s stamina, you must supply him with inhibitors. These can be found in GRE containers hidden in the open world of the game.

What are vents in Dying Light 2?

During flight, you can also aim for vents to replenish your stamina and extend your flight time. Look for the gray fog coming from the roofs, then steer the paraglider into a stream of air to gain extra momentum.

They are also suitable for taking off. As Aiden stands on the air current, press the square button on the PS5 and he will fly into the air. Should you assign buildings to survivors, you will have a chance to get a survivor reward that creates more vents and improves their effects.

How do I upgrade the paraglider in Dying Light 2?

Lawan also gives you a corresponding design. With enough resources, you can then upgrade it with the master craftsmen. An upgrade will cost you military technology (2 pieces) and 1,000 coins.

You can upgrade your paraglider three times. Military technology is extremely rare, so look for parachutes hanging from skyscrapers. GRE packages have landed there, and you can find military technology there.

Lost Ark: Sea Of Indolence Dungeon Guide

The Sea of Indolence is the first eight-player dungeon in Lost Ark. Here’s how to master it.

The special features of the Sea of Indolence

This abyssal dungeon has a maximum of eight players. And that is the number of fighters required to defeat the Sentinel. You can enter it at level 50 with 960 item levels in Northern. To do this, however, you must have completed the entire series of quests on the continent.

You fight in The Sea of Indolence underwater, which is what makes it different from other dungeons in Lost Ark. For this purpose, you’ll also get a diving suit, which gives you new abilities. Get familiar with them thoroughly.

When you finish the first boss, you will be able to use your normal abilities again, and your character will have an oxygen indicator above his head. If this runs out, you will receive massive damage per second until your hero dies.

Air bubbles or plants can be used to replenish the oxygen gauge in the Sea of Indolence. A plant can only be used by one player, so be sure to keep an eye on your fellow players’ breathing. Since the valuable greenery grows back quickly in time, it is no problem to give way to a colleague.

The first boss in the Sea of Indolence

You should dodge all of the attacks from the first boss, a three-headed dragon, and immediately start attacking afterward.

The red circle indicates the area that will be attacked, while the red path indicates the path the attack will take. Don’t wait too long before moving away from the corresponding areas.

As you fight the dragon, you’ll encounter a shark-skinned minion. Finish it off to increase your chances against the first boss. Focus all your attacks on him, as he will give you a powerful attack damage buff upon his demise.

The three-headed dragon should be destroyed soon if you concentrate and coordinate your efforts. But now you face the true terror of the sea: the Sentinel.

The second boss in the Sea of Indolence

When you thought the first boss was challenging, wait until the Sentinel comes along. Because this house-high creature of terror will literally blow your mind.

The final boss has a total of two phases in store for you.

The attacks in phase one

  • A red circle tells you where you will take massive damage if you step on a stomp attack by the Sentinel. Do not step on the circle.
  • Hand Sweep: The boss’s mighty paw rises and then sweeps once across the area in front of it. Again, a red area marks the danger zone.
  • Red Energy Balls: The damage area of the red energy balls is marked by a yellow circle. It deprives you of the all-important oxygen.
  • Energy beam: This is a treacherous attack that directly petrifies characters. Only auto attacks will relieve your teammates of this misery, because otherwise they will become easy targets for his final attack.
  • Total Devastation: You will be shown a small safe zone untouched by the attack, in a corner of the arena. You must go there immediately if you don’t want to die.
  • Once you’ve dodged all of the Sentinel’s attacks and dealt enough damage to the behemoth, you’ll destroy its legs.

The attacks in phase two

  • Red energy balls: Unlike the first phase, a yellow cone now shows you the range of this attack. Again, you will lose valuable oxygen.
  • Clapping: Stomping also has an effective range indicated by a red circle. The Sentinel uses several furious hand attacks to finish off your party.
  • Sprint: The Sentinel jumps back and begins charging. It then lunges at you, petrifying any players it hits.
  • Hand Sweep: As in phase one, the Sentinel’s paw sweeps over a designated area. This time, the danger area is displayed in blue.
  • Total Devastation: Just like in the previous phase, a destructive attack will cover the entire arena except for a small area.
  • Keep your focus and make sure your team members’ oxygen levels are high. Only together will you have a chance at victory and the fat reward.

Defeated all the bosses? This is what you get

You’ll receive a fat reward after completing the Sea of Indolence, including items of various item quality levels, as well as raw materials for crafting items, engraving guides, and legendary trading cards.

The Abyssal Scars chest can also be opened for 30 gold. They contain more rare items and resources. So don’t be too stingy at this point.

The Sunken City is a hidden area in Dying Light 2: Stay Human that you can quickly miss forever. We’ll show you how to uncover this part of town.

Several decisions will affect the outcome of the game and the entire game world. One of the choices will even reveal a secret area of the city that you won’t see if you select the wrong option. We’ll show you how to reach the Sunken City in Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

What is the Sunken City in Dying Light 2?

Dying Light 2: How to Unlock the Sunken City

Only if you make the right decision at the right time during one of the last story quests, during the epilogue of the game, will you be able to uncover the secret parts of the city located in the south of the Central Loop. In addition to lots of loot, a completely new zombie species awaits you there.

Which quest will lead me to the sunken city?

The Breakthrough’s story quest requires Aiden to follow a truck that leads directly to the headquarters of the Renegades. The truck will stop at a Renegade building that you can enter via a fire escape to the west during the quest.

Caution: Here starts the epilogue. Read more about it below.

The “Now or Never” quest begins if you enter the door, in which you unravel the story of the sunken city. You start in the basement, then must run through several parkour maneuvers and fend off a zombie horde on your way to the upper floors. You will find renegades as soon as you make it to the elevators. You will then have to fight your way to the van. Aiden takes the driver hostage and leads him straight to the renegades’ headquarters.

Can I continue playing normally after the epilogue?

When you reach the end of the story quest “The Breakthrough”, the epilogue begins and a window appears informing you to complete all open tasks and side quests before entering the Renegade building. After completing the main quest, you can still pursue side quests and collectibles. The only thing you cannot undo is the consequences of your decisions up to this point. So you can begin the epilogue with peace of mind.

How do I reach the Colonel of the Renegades?

Pass the guards in the tall grass and cross the rope bridge to the red brick building at the headquarters. If you wish to remain in stealth mode, dive into the water, then swim to the other shore. Get to the door by carefully climbing ashore and ambushing the two guards. An open exchange of blows will also lead you to the goal. However, you are sure to encounter many more renegades.

As you enter the building, you will see a large table set up and a guard bent over a barred gate with his back to you. Overpower the renegade and descend the hatch. Go through the channel and follow the corridor. More renegades will appear on your way. Kill them and go through the double doors.

What decisions do I have to make in the dialogue with the Colonel?

A short sequence follows in which you are given the option of uncovering the sunken city or not. Depending on your decision, you may encounter a different outcome in the end. However, with the following descriptions you will reach your goal in any case.

The conversation reveals that the chief of the renegades is not your enemy. Nevertheless, if you wish to reach the sunken city, you must face the Colonel. Choose the dialog option “I believe Matt”. Alternatively, you’ll meet Lawan beforehand, who threatens the Colonel and his wife. Again, side with Lawan and don’t believe the Colonel.

How do I uncover the Sunken City in Dying Light 2?

Both times, you will have a fight with his men. After you deal with them, you will need to lower the bulkheads. Use the levers on either side of the concert grand piano to do so. The power will fail and you will have a boss fight with the Colonel’s champion.

Start by killing the archers, and then the common soldiers. When one-on-one with the champion, you should have no problem. Just be careful of his power attacks. Connect the cable back to the generator and start both pumps. In the next cutscene, you will see the sunken city in Dying Light 2: Stay Human and its new zombie species.

Dying Light 2: Treasure Hunt - Find all safes and combinations

In Dying Light 2: Stay Human, you’ll need to solve a few tricky puzzles in order to find the hidden safes. We’ve listed all the safe locations and combinations.

The game’s zombie-infested open world offers plenty to discover, including crazy weapons and Easter eggs as well as hidden safes with great loot.

What is in the hidden safes of Dying Light 2?

The hidden safes often contain high rarity items, such as mines, medi-kits, and equipment, as well as inhibitors that are necessary for upgrading. If you are looking for collectibles like ribbons or souvenirs, you will also find them.

All hidden safes in side quests

Some of the hidden safes can only be found by completing certain side quests. If you seek them out without completing side quests, you are usually unable to access them or you won’t be able to interact with them. You will lose access to the safe’s valuable content if you miss the corresponding side quest.

Safe code in the side quest “The first biomarker”

Create a trading post west of Trinity on the border with Houndfield by unlocking the “Alder” windmill. Talk to McGregor to start the side quest “The First Biomarker“. He will tell you to look for a safe in St. Joseph Hospital with the combination 9-7-3.

Safe code in the side quests “The Deserter” and “Treasure Hunt”

It is necessary to complete “The Deserter” side quest with Meyer in the Fortress before you can obtain this safe. Caution: If you hand in the card at the end, you will be blocked from obtaining “Treasure Hunt”. Albert the librarian can help you decipher the map during the treasure hunt. Go to Muddy Grounds’ water tower and dive down in the flooded area to find the safe, which you can open using the combination 3-21-67.

Safe code in the side quest “Self-Burned”

You will only be able to unlock the side quest “Self-Burned” if you leave Jack and Joe alive during the decision at the water tower. Later on you will find them in the prison on the floating fortress. Offer them help, and they will send you back to the water tower to get the contents of a safe for them. The combination is 14-9-2.

Safe Code in the Story Quest “Transmission”

You will enter the Garrison Power Plant during the quest “Transmission” and find the safe in the room with the generator number 2. You will also find the note “Approximate size of Pi” in the box next to it. The combination is 3-1-4.

Safe code in the side quest “Book Club”

You are sent to an apartment in Houndfield to confront a few bandits and kill them afterwards. The safe code is found in the book “Treasure Island,” and it is 21-12-55.

Safe code in the side quest “Out of your league”

As part of the “True Friends” quest, you have to talk to Dominik in the bazaar and then accept the side quest “Out of Your League” from Nerys. Through this quest, you will gain access to the safe. It has the combination 11-11-19.

You should complete this side quest before the transition to the central ring, if possible. If you complete the story quest, this quest will no longer be available.

Dying Light 2 Safes: All locations and Safe codes

There are no hints or markers in Dying Light 2: Stay Human that will aid you in finding safes. Most are hidden outside of quests in the Open World. The combination to the safe can be found on a note from an abandoned apartment, warehouse, or military container. The notes are part of the collectibles and are located near the safe.

The following table contains the solutions to the puzzles on which you will find the safe combination.

Dying Light 2 - On Mission: Find all Sparker dates

‘On Mission’ in Dying Light 2 sends Aiden on a dating spree. We’ll show you how to unlock Aiden’s secret side quest in Dying Light 2: Stay Human, take you on a few dates in Old Villedoor, and get the “On Mission” trophy.

There is a minor bug in the quest line that gives you with the trophy. Please see the end of this post for more information.

How to get the “On Mission” trophy?

You need to complete the side quest “Matchmaker” and do a favor for the founder of the post-apocalyptic dating service “Sparker” to earn the trophy. After completing “The Raid” in the main quest, Aidan will need to meet three Sparker registered playmates.

How to start the quest line for the “On Mission” trophy?

Rahim, the operator of the postapocalyptic dating agency Sparker, will be waiting outside the door of the bakery northeast of the bazaar in Trinity (Old Villedor). He asks you to get him some business-damaging fake profile cards for him in the side quest “Matchmaker”.

Where to find the Sparker cards in the Matchmaker side quest?

The first two orders are located in the Horseshoe district on the Villedor City Map next to Rahim. You can find the first profile map in Jack & Joe’s camp to the north. Keep left in the camp and go into the building behind the cages. There is Sparker card number one on the table. Unless you picked up the bandit camp during the story quest and the water tower decision, you will be met with resistance here.

In the southwest Dark Zone, on the border with Trinity, enter via the military container on the roof of the building at night. The Sparker card is on a table in the foyer. Take the two cards back to Raheem and he will give you the artifact collectible Aiden’s Dating Profile.

Finding the Sparker Cards in Dying Light 2

How do I meet all three Sparker love interests?

You can wait a day and go back to the bakery if you have Aiden’s dating profile. If you’re impatient, you can sleep in the subway for a while. Once you’re back at the bakery, meet Juliet. Talk to her first. Before continuing, you must complete the “Welcome aboard” quest. A few days later, you will meet Vinnie outside the bakery, and again a few days later, Maya.

This is what happens when you are affected by the bug

There is also a bug in Maya’s side quest “Sentimental Value,” which might cause her to disappear or not appear at all. In this case, Maya cannot be found in the bakery. The game will either recognize Vinnie as the final Sparker love object and award you with the “On Mission” trophy – or you will go home empty-handed. You may also encounter situations where you meet only Juliet. The only way to fix this is to wait for a patch.

In Lost Ark there is a crystalline aura that gives you additional bonuses. Among these are practical things, such as free use of the triporters and a low cooldown on frequently used stuff such as the Song of Return, as well as an increased regeneration of life energy and reduced research and crafting times.

Lost Ark: Crystalline aura gone - How to restore or activate it?

It can be purchased in Lost Ark’s store using crystals, and once activated, it lasts for 30 days. If you bought the Founders Pack, you will also receive it. Recently, there have been more and more reports about problems with the aura, since for some players, it has simply disappeared. The question is, what to do if the crystalline aura is lost and how can it be restored?

Crystalline Aura suddenly gone: What to do?

If the crystalline aura is missing, even though it should still be active, then this is probably a bug currently affecting some players. The thread regarding the disappearing aura is one of the most popular on Reddit and the official Lost Ark forum. The developers seem to be aware of the problem, but there is no real solution yet.

How to restore and activate the crystalline aura?

We also found that periodically logging out and logging back in occasionally helped restore it. The only solution is to wait and hope it will be activated soon. If you log in again, with a little luck, the aura will appear green again and be active. If there is a queue on the server, it is obviously not recommended to do the latter, as the complete logout and login require queuing again. If the it does not reappear even after hours, please contact support or post the player name in the related forum thread.

It is hoped that the developer will rectify the issue and credit you for the missed runtime of the crystalline aura. In response to the initial issues, the developer has offered 3 free days of the aura to all affected players.

Horizon Forbidden West - How to unlock the diving mask

Besides flying mounts, new underwater features have been added to the game. However, intensive swimming underwater requires a special device. In this post, we’ll share with you how to unlock the diving mask in Horizon Forbidden West.

As well as the extensive underwater passageways, the game also features various loot and collectibles, including flight recorders that can now be found underwater.

It’s also possible to explore sunken caves, but you’ll need a breathing mask to endure longer underwater passageways since you’ll typically drown before you complete them.

How do I unlock the diving mask?

Diving masks are part of so-called ‘special equipment’, just like shield wings. This group also includes lighters and vine cutters that help open blocked passageways.

You can get it automatically after completing the main story mission ‘The Sea of Sands‘ as was the case with all the other special equipment.

The breathing device is yours after you complete the eleventh main mission, so you’ll need to spend some time on it before it becomes available to you. Keep in mind that some side missions and/or activities are very difficult or impossible without it.

What do I need the diving mask for?

It can also be useful for several areas other than the last main mission, such as solving a relic ruins or finding vantage points. Apart from that, as mentioned above, you won’t be able to complete most of the sunken caves without it.

Therefore, if you are looking to farm green shine to trade or upgrade your weapons and outfits, you should unlock the diving mask, since sunken caves are ideal for farming green shine.

A diving mask is a great special item that will let you experience Horizon Forbidden West’s beautifully crafted underwater world even more deeply and extensively, and let you do a lot more. Therefore, it’s well worth trying to unlock it early, and playing the main story first.

Dying Light 2 Quest Guide: Find the Rose Garden

We’ll show you how to find the hidden rose garden in Dying Light 2: Stay Human and what to expect.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to complete “Rose Garden”, a touching side quest, a great choice for beginners. You can find side quests hidden in the Old Villedor area, where you meet residents asking Aiden for assistance.

Where can I find the quest giver for the side quest “Rose Garden”?

There is a quest giver for the side quest “Rose Garden” in Quarry End, one of the southern districts of Old Villedor. When Hakon releases you into the Open World during the quest “The Only Way Out”, you can begin the quest. From the station in the center of Quarry End, walk about a hundred meters northwest.

Talk to Peter in the blue tower labeled “Cadet Academy” and select the dialogue option “That would certainly make her happy”. In the quest, you are to give the dried rose to an old lady in a glass house.

Where can I find the glass house in Old Mound Street?

Where can I find the glass house in Old Mound Street? Dying Light 2

You can search the area from the air if you’ve found the glider already, or you can use the Nightrunner binoculars if you haven’t. You should walk 150 yards to the south. Find a high point in the marked quest area and look for a red brick mansion with an overgrown roof – but you won’t find a glass house like Peter describes.

The quest giver is speaking of an annex with a semicircular, filthy dome made of red bricks. It is located at the back of the villa, therefore not visible. There is also no direct access to it. The area around the villa is overrun with zombies. If you want to avoid a fight, climb over the roofs and lanterns to get to the house. The entrance is under the crumbling balcony on the west side.

How do I find the old lady in the glass house?

Enter the greenhouse through the front door. On the table next to the corpse is a note containing the artifact collectible “Letter – Helen’s Confession”. Read the letter to find out more about Peter and the old lady. When you interact with the corpse, Aiden places the rose on the “flower lady’s” lap. When you leave the glass house, gather the precious poppy and honey, as well as all of the other resources in the room across the street.

What reward do I get for the side quest “Rose Garden”?

You will receive a considerable amount of gold coins from the merchants on the free market once you return to Peter and tell him about the flower lady. Aiden will give him the letter and you will receive “Helen’s Rose Necklace” as a reward. It’s best to reinvest these in resources immediately.

How to make an immortal unit in Worldbox

Having immortality allows a creature to avoid dying of old age, that is, it will live forever without external intervention. This trait is inherited by some species though it can also be acquired by others. Dragon, fairy, piranha, snowman, chill, mage of good, mage of evil, demon, skeleton, zombie, animated houses and plants, druid, necromancer, tumor, creatures infected with tumor, creatures infected with fungus spores and crabzilla have this trait right away. There is also a tiny chance to get this trait for nothing.

Immortality can be obtained in several ways. The first is to survive the plague. The second is to be struck by lightning. The second option is what we think will bestow immortality upon your favorite units.

In Worldbox, you can make a unit immortal by placing a shield on it and then hitting it with lightning so that it becomes immortal. This is how you can make yourself an immortal nation and lead it to dominance.

Interesting things

Standoff 2 Arena map is located on the outskirts of the United States, specifically a military base. It is asymmetrical, but the teams have similar hideouts and revival locations.

There are a lot of Easter eggs on the map since it was added to celebrate the two-year anniversary of Standoff 2. Here are a few of them:

One of the crates along the hangar entrance doesn’t have a collision, and it is safe to go inside.

The area inside the crates has a cat in one of the developers’ mugshots. Isn’t that cute?

There are lots of posters and pictures on the map celebrating the game’s two-year anniversary.

Tactics

The Arena features mirrored geometry, many exit points, and lots of firing points. Additionally, the map has many indoor facilities, including a large two-story hangar and a small warehouse that both teams cross.

In light of all the points above, you should consider taking the machine gun. Since enemies can come from either side, you need to react quickly.

Best Positions

Throughout the game, you can take advantage of many positions. Below you will find a few of them.

Standoff 2: Arena map Best Positions

You will be able to get a better position for observation and firing if you climb into this box. Check the map for all kinds of crates and outbuildings.

The game allows you to climb behind different objects. In this case, there are a bunch of crates. And there are slots through which you can spot the enemy and engage.

Standoff 2: Arena map gain a better view

The last and most advantageous position is to climb on the roof. On the map there are many structures, you can climb to the top with the help of a friend or on your own, and gain a better view.
